Pringles have introduced limited edition ‘Chicken Salt’ and ‘Meat Pie’ flavours

How the hell do you express a flavour profile of beef, gravy and pastry in a light, crispy potato chip? We’re not quite sure on the science behind it all, but we’re glad Pringles have decided to go full Aussie and launch a Meat Pie flavour. And why stop there? They’ve thrown in a special Chicken Salt flavour to seal the deal and fall in-line with the trend of iconic Aussie snack brands capturing iconic Aussie flavours.

Both flavours have recently made their way onto supermarket shelves across Australia, being made available for a limited time only as part of the Aussie Favourites range. Like all pringles, they are available for $3.99 a tube and come with the usual “once you pop, you can’t stop” ambition; although it’s hard to imagine a meat pie chip tasting any good. On the other hand, chicken salt is bound to be a winner. Both could be incredible or amazing disappointments, it’s all on your taste buds so if you want to get your hands on some head along to any Woolworths or IGA nationwide.
