With the second Guardians of the Galaxy not too far away Marvel have partnered with beloved party-style Doritos to launch some very oddly coloured limited edition chips, going by the name of Doritos Supernova. The snack has now landed in shelves across the country, bringing with it a flavour description that promises a zesty blast of lime dusted with volcanic black pepper.
The chips, which are available in 150g and 80g packs, will be available in Woolworths and petrol and convenience stores across Australia with a special on-pack promotion, giving chip-eaters and their friends the change to win a trip of Las Vegas (valued at $15k) to see the Marvel exhibition at Madam Tussauds, or the Marvel Cinematic Experience at Treasure Island, as well as a $500 daily cash giveaway. The promotion will run until the end of May.
“We’re very excited to partner with Marvel on the much-anticipated second instalment of the film”, said Doritos’ Brand Manager Alison Silver. “With Doritos Supernova, we wanted to create true innovation in the chips aisle and offer something that is completely new and unexpected for our consumers”.
