A Sydney based company is bringing Southern France’s best rosé wines to Australia

Championing the wines of Southern France, particularly of the Rosé variety, Quattro Wine Group has begun stamping quite the impression on Australia. The company, which was started by four Sydney-based wine enthusiasts, are trying to push one of the more underrated sides of the French Riviera to more Aussies, curating a selection of rosé wines from the South of France and ensuring they make their way to Australian restaurants, bars and bottle shops.

Quattro works exclusively with two contrasting vineyards to make this happen. First, there’s the heritage Domaine les Toulons boasting a winemaking history that dates back 2000 years. The second is the much younger Domaine Tropez, which is an upstart vineyard launched in 1996 and has since been touted at the top of wine lovers’ lists, with a portfolio of six Rosé wines including the popular ‘Sand Tropez’, an accessible entry into the pale crisp Rosé category.

Sydneysiders should get a good idea of just how lush these Rosé wines are by looking at what hotspots have picked them up so far. This includes the lofty Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel as well as Café Del Mar, Shuk Bondi, The Butler, Daniel San and Darlo Country Club.

Quattro’s portfolio now features over 15 different styles of Rosé, all of which can be found HERE along with more information.
