Ze Pickle announces kitchen takeover at The Oxford Tavern (Sydney)

After recently expanding to Sydney, QLD-originated burger joint Ze Pickle is now firmly established on the local scene thanks to their go-hard-or-go-home approach to the inescapable food trend. Their Surry Hills location isn’t too hard to get to, but just to make their burgers a bit more accessible they have announced a special one-day-only kitchen takeover at Petersham institution The Oxford Tavern.

On the first Sunday of June, Ze Pickle will be picking up the reigns in Oxford Tavern’s kitchen and pumping out four of their classic burgers as well as an exclusive one-off collaboration burger which uses some juicy smoked meat from the venue’s own Black Betty American smoker. We assume the tav’s new menu will be available on the day too, so if you’ve still got room, we suggest ending your day with one of their Ice Cream Twinkie Dog’s.

Venue regulars The Swampy Tonk Drifers will be on hand to soundtrack you scoffing down those burgs and chasing with $10 Bloody Mary’s. It all kicks off from 12pm, with a first-in, best-dressed approach.
