Uber have partnered up with the team at OzHarvest to kick start a global event this Friday, bringing Australia the much loved “Uber Ice Cream” delivery service nation-wide, and this time some of the country’s top chefs are getting involved. People across Australia will be able to order in exclusive gourmet ice cream flavours designed by the likes of George Calombaris, Matt Moran, and Neil Perry through the Uber app from 11am to 5pm this Friday 15th July.
A half-litre tub of ice cream delivered straight to your face will rack up a lowly charge to your account of $15, all profits of which will go to OzHarvest who will use the much-needed funds to provide five meals to Australians in need. You get to give and eat exclusive ice cream at the same time. Not convinced? Check out the flavours:
Calomnaris’ Greek routes have been channeled into a Caramel and Walnut Baklava Smash; Matt Moran has gone with a Banana Banoffee Crunch; and Neil Perry has opted for a Spiced Cookie and Caramel Swirl. Yeah, these are MVPs of ice cream flavours right here.
Now, you may not be able to pick just what flavour you end up getting, but seeing as all three sound absolutely delicious, all that matters is that you can log on between the hours listed above and just press the special ice cream button for your fix of guilt-free creamy goodness, delivered to you as soon as possible.
