Three Williams hooks up with Tomislav Martinovic to introduce a new burger to their menu (Sydney)

Redfern’s Three Williams has teamed up with acclaimed Chef Tomislav Martinovic to beef up the burger offerings at the popular cafe. And it’s not some limited edition burger either; from today (Friday November 13th) their burger creation, Mr Davis, will be available on Three Wills’ lunchtime menu, giving you something else to scoff down aside from narnis and brioche French toast.

The Mr Davis burger is a bespoke creation from Martinovic, named for Fletcher Davis, the Texan who declared to have invented to hamburger in the 1880s. Between a soft milk bun there’s a juicy house-made beef patty with crispy bacon, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, onion mayo, mustard, and ketchup; a classic which Tomislav described as sticking to the basics.

“The burger game is all about alchemy”, explained Tomislav in a press release, “it’s about getting the right bread, the right fat-to-meat ratio in the patty, and how it’s cooked and then assembled with a balanced set of ingredients…if you get it right, it’s poetry.”

Mr Davis will be available with a side of beer battered chips for $19 eat in and $16 takeaway from 11.30am every day.
