Sydney now has a bar which exclusively stocks only Australian beverages and produce, nodding heavily to this country’s abundance with a strong dedication to keeping it local. Three Bottle Man is the name, and it’s opened as part of the lush Sydney Harbour Marriott down in Circular Quay and the property’s $15 million transformation, offering hotel guests and visitors a reflection of just how strong the scene of all-Australian food and drink is.
Operating with an all-day menu and a generous list of wine, cocktails and beer, Three Bottle Man promises to take great care in using local produce the best way possible, from morning takeaway coffee and health-focused breakfasts right through to cocktails and dinner as the sun goes down.
“Our country has so much to offer in terms of quality beverages and produce and we’re thrilled to be the only bar in Sydney celebrating an exclusively local menu”, said Three Bottle Man supervisor Kartik Chaudri. “We wanted to create a space where both local Sydney-siders and hotel guests could come to escape in the centre of the busy city”.
Dishes offered as part of the food menu include Ocean Trout Tataki with pickled vegetable salad for breakfast, alongside traditional morning favourites, followed by the likes of Ricotta Gnocchi with picked figs and dukkha and artisan cheese boards for lunch and dinner. Being a bar this of course means that guests will have access to a list of signature cocktails and fine wines from lunch through to close, positioning the bar as a strong entry in the after-work drink scene, especially as it has an al fresco laneway space spilling out on to Bulletin Place.
