The Works Showroom is Glebe’s new dynamic retail space (Sydney)

Glebe is about the get a new dynamic retail space with the launch of The Works Showroom, a micro-leasing concept store on the suburb’s main strip just a stone’s throw from the legendary Glebe Markets. Launched just last week, the space is set to showcase and facilitate locally-made goods providing small businesses the opportunity to further connect to Sydneysiders and develop their presence by balancing casual market trading with long-term retail store leasing.

Customers will be able to support local makers through the Showroom while exploring a constantly rotating selection of products and brands, with short-term leasing options of 2, 4 or 6 months ensuring the showroom remains ever-evolving.

Local boutique brands that have come on board so far include local Glebe maker Nadine Tonucci or Nay Yan Pieces as well as brands like Soverign Collection, Millie Hall and Crave Pantry.

The Showroom will further position Glebe as one of the hotspots for local makers, extending the scene from the very well established Glebe Markets.
