The epic Italian Wine & Food Festival returns to Melbourne this June

Following last years success, the Melbourne Italian Wine + Food Festival returns to Carlton Gardens for one day only. From street-style pizza to pasta made in front of guests, the festival will bring together Italian food and drink, information and entertainment.

Chefs Rosa Mitchell from Rosa’s Canteen, and Johnny di Francesco from 400 Gradi will be cooking in pop-up restaurants as well as cooking demonstrations on the Main Stage with chefs and teams from other Melbourne Italian restaurants like Caterina’s Cucina e Bar, Bar Idda, Trattoria Emilia, Small Ace, Pasta Adagio, La Bonta and Pasta Classica.

The festival will feature a Marketplace where suppliers, bakers and providers to some of these restaurants will show off their goods. Guests can expect stalls from That’s Amore Cheese, Saluministi, Prosciutto di Parma Consorzio, 7 Apples Gelato and many more.

Over 200 Italian wines will be available to experience. From Italian-centric Australian labels to Italian Wine Masterclasses, winemakers and importers will be on hand for all your tasting pleasures.
