The Craft & Co is hosting a big European style Christmas Market this weekend (Melbourne)

With Christmas a few mere weeks away, the team behind The Craft & Co are hosting their very first Christmas market on December 11, to be held in the multi-faceted Collingwood space, which is regularly used as an eatery, distillery, brewery, and a coffe roaster among many others.

With the motivation of ‘paddock to plate’ in mind, the Christmas market will showcase more than 20 Victorian-based artisan producers where Melburnians can converse, interact and purchase straight from the producers themselves.

Those heading along this Sunday can make their way through the bright, airy loft and browse through a variety of products; from handmade chocolate, chutneys and preserves, through to crafted gin. There will be free samples of The Craft & Co’s very own in-house wine, as well as house-made cheese and salami samples to entice you throughout the day.

A hamper and wrapping service will be at hand to help bundle up your purchases into a bespoke Christmas gift.

Owner and Director of The Craft & Co, Paul Baggio, has always been eager to establish a platform that would promote the wonderful creations that Victorian producers have to offer, quoted as saying “Not many Melburnians realise the calibre of locally produced and sourced products sitting on their doorstep,” speaking to the main design of the market as nt only a showcase for some of Victoria’s finest but a chance to explore the many ways artisan produce can help make Christmas and the surrounding holidays that much better.

“By offering an intimate European-style Christmas market, we hope we can start to really showcase the fantastic offerings these bespoke producers are developing.”
