The Barber Shop takes a unique approach to new Barangaroo bar

Get a good ol’ fashioned tidy up and revamp that clipper cut while sipping on boutique bottled beers and classy cocktails at The Barber Shop’s second location at The Streets of Barangaroo when the new venue opens by the middle of this month. The award-winning CBD cocktail bar will expand following it’s pop-up concept Gin & It, which has proven to be a necessary addition to the current temporary installment of bars and restaurants alongside to Wulugul waterfront strip.

The award-winning cocktail bar that has made its mark on Sydney’s small bar scene with the CBD York street venue is now looking to bring its unique tailored barber and cocktail services across to Barangaroo, designing their new venture after the dapper gentlemen experience with industrial vintage interiors accompanied with men’s luxury books and lifestyle products, and the opportunity for a traditional haircut, before an immersion of boutique-bottled beers, top of the range gin & whiskeys with hand cut ice, and specially crafted creative cocktails in the intimate bar room.

Mikey Enright, Director of The Barber Shop, said: “We’re really looking forward to the next chapter of The Barber Shop at Barangaroo. The focus at this new location is about creating a tranquil environment in a nostalgic setting in the same tone as our York Street location for gentlemen who need to escape a demanding and busy life.”

In what is sounding like the perfect addition for the surrounding corporate clientele, The Barber Shop will be a hybrid men’s fashion hub and bar that is designed as something Sydney has never seen before.
