The Argyle plans trio of beach-themed parties to celebrate summer (Sydney)

Renowned venue The Argyle in The Rocks has announced a big trio of parties spread across this month, all designed after iconic beach locations around the world. Taking place over three big weekends, each party will draw inspiration from either Rio, Miami, and Ibiza as they transform the unique hot spot into a medley of thick deck chairs, palm trees, and beach balls.

Fifteen DJs will help the parties along, including Tenzin and Helena Legend, pumping out beats while The Argyle gets tropical.

The first party will take place this weekend (Jan 8-10) and shape The Argyle towards Rio, with samba dancers and capoeira. The DJs and bar crew will then help turn the space into “Miami Madness” on Jan 15-17, and finally Ibiza will take over for Jan 22-25 with a white party on the Friday.

Each party will start at 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and 1pm on Sunday.

The final weekend on January will then see The Argyle host their ultimate Australia Day eve party with KLP with entry set at $10-$20.

The venue will also host free movies under the stars every Monday night from 8pm, with entry being free.

The Argyle Summer Series
