Tella Balls Dessert Bar opens first ever Melbourne shop in CBD

Sydney-born dessert and social media phenomenon Tella Balls Dessert Bar has finally opened up one of its deliciously sugary stores in Melbourne. The newly launched dessert bar, which is located at Melbourne Central, follows the successful launch of the brand in QLD last year, bringing more than just Sydneysiders a menu that’s chock full of over-the-top Nutella-filled desserts including the original Tella Ball doughnut (the one that once sat atop a milkshake and caused international headlines), doughnut sliders, doughnut fries, doughnut cones, dessert lasagne (layers of mousse and fresh cream on a chocolate biscuit base with lashings of Nutella served with vanilla bean gelato), dessert kebabs, and pancakes.

“We’re really excited to be opening in Melbourne because at the very heart of the Tella Balls Dessert Bar’s philosophy is to position ourselves right in the centre of culinary hubs”, said co-owner Ali Daikos. “Melbourne is arguably at the forefront of great food choices. They know a good thing when they see it and we know they’ve going to love us”.

No other Tella Balls Dessert Bar’s have been announced, but with the rate of expansion, we wouldn’t be surprised if we see a new one popping up soon.
