Sydney to host a pop-up IceBar this summer

Some people love to plan for Sydney’s famously beautiful summer season early in the year, no less the organisers behind IceBar, a new pop-up bar experience set to stretch across five days in January 2018. IceBar, a space operating at minus five degrees, will be location in the CBD and offer respite from the the summer heat along with a various ice bars, novelty ice sculptures and cocktails served in glasses made from ice cubes.

Hell, they’ll even be some pizza, burgers and share plates pumping out of a dedicated kitchen for those feeling a bit peckish. Though details are scarce, we assume the food will be served away from the freezing cold.

Tickets to the bar will start at $35pp for early bird release, moving up to $45pp for general sale. Each ticket will give the holder a 45-minute session in the bar as well as a complimentary drink on arrival and all the appropriate gear you need to stay comfortable.

More details to come.
