Sydney gets a new three-level establishment with Lot.1

2015 is ending with a burst of exciting new openings for Sydney and front and centre is Lot.1, a lush three-level establishment in the heart of the CBD that offers a premium dining experience, leaning towards classic Italian favourites and focused on local seasonal ingredients handled with a refined modern twist. The venue has a capacity of 400 people and boasts stunning architecture completely befitting it’s multi-million dollar development.

Famed Adelaide Chef Adam Swanson has come on board this venture to lead the kitchen with fresh summertime dishes like Kingfish Carpaccio with homemade Campari infused granita, dehydrated ruby grapefruit, and crispy thin homemade Italian bread, and Polpette a Pomodoro, which is a Swanson family recipe of pork, veal, beef, herb mix, and rich 24 month aged raw milk regiano parmigiano. Desserts include the Torta Caprese, a dense soft centered chocolate delight, and the Salsa Mou, a salted caramel and black cherry sorbet. Most of the dishes will focus on a tapas style series of share plates.

Lot.1’s Espresso Bar makes up the more casual-dining side of the venue, offering quick fix dishes like Organic Chicken 3 Bean Salad and Vendura Panini with smoked eggplant, eggplant chips, ricotta, and fresh basil.

From around 5pm daily, the venue will also be maintaining a strong focus on aperitivo style eating, with moreish Italian snacks available alongside specialty cocktails and classics like Negroni and Aperol Spritzes.
