Surry Hills’ The Carrington launches The Hip Hop Chicken Shop pop-up (Sydney)

The team at Surry Hills staple The Carrington are readying their b-boy stances, preparing to turn the venue into The Hip Hop Chicken Shop from 5pm every Saturday throughout February with a specially designed chicken shop inspired menu backed by an equally delicious soundtrack of nothing but hip hop.

While the venue’s boomin’ system is cranking the kitchen will be pumping out some really indulgent, enticing dishes like the 50 Cent Chicken Wings with beer glaze and blue cheese, a Fried Chicken Doughnut Burger with bacon and ginger slaw, the Grilled Chicken Burger with manchego cheese and chipotle, the Deep Fried Daddy Mac ‘n’ Cheese with chipotle aioli, and The B.I.G 1/2 Chicken with crunchy spuds for two. Dessert will come in the form of a 40z. Pale Ale Cheesecake. LIKE WOAH.

They are taking bookings for sessions now. Head to their Facebook for more info.
