Sunnybank’s self-guided $2 Food Trail returns for winter (Brisbane)

This June, Sunnybank’s popular $2 self-guided food trail concept is making a return, providing very inexpensive access to some of the area’s best Asian culinary dishes, all of which are available for one small gold coin. With over 40 local restaurants participating, Brisbane foodies can get a taste of the Orient just south of the city for less than a cup of coffee.

Sunnybank has long been known as Brisbane’s go-to suburb for the most authentic Asian restaurants and the Food Trail is set to showcase the best they have to offer, curating a winter menu that will feature an array of soul-pleasing cold weather favourites such as steaming noodle soups, spicy BBQ stir-fries, deep fried dim sum, steamed custard buns and pan fried dumplings. Brisbanites will be able sample mini dishes from a huge range of Asian cuisines including Chinese, Japanese, Hong Kong Style, Vietnamese, Taiwanese and more,

For the little ones there will be free balloons and everyone’s favourite traditional lion dancers.

And for the big kids, Sunny Park will host a pop-up bar, so you can stop in and wet your whistle in between courses. There will also be live music and entertainment along the trail, with a program boasting 20 local musicians and roaming performers.
