Spiegelau goes for elegance with new Perfect Serve Collection

Award winning bartender and mixologist Stephan Hinz, the brains behind renowned stylish drinking den Little Link in Germany, has teamed up with German glass manufacturer Spiegelau to create a new line of glassware designed to perfectly suit cocktails. Dubbed The Perfect Serve Collection, this new series of four stemmed glasses, four tumblers, and two mixing glasses is aimed at better serving the needs of both bartenders and their customers, balancing elegance with functionality to really speak to the sensory experience of a masterfully mixed cocktail, considering taste, look, and feel.

If there is one big takeaway that media often learn with further exploration into the cocktail, spirit, beer, and wine industries it is that the glass matters just as much as everything else, whether it be capturing the aroma in a certain way or giving the drink enough room to breathe. It’s for this reason that this new line of glassware, which took a year to develop, is of interest to bartenders; that and the fact that these are resistant to scratches and breakage while being dishwasher friendly.

“With Spiegelau. I now have the perfect partner at my side, with a great deal of glass knowledge and experience. It doesn’t matter how versatile gastronomy is, the requirements of a really good glass stay the same. And these are qualities fitting every bar, regardless of concepts or temporary trends,” said Hinz in a press release.

The attractive range are also designed to give a good first impression with cocktails, as Hinz explained at a Sydney launch event at renowned cocktail bar Eau De Vie. “You drink with your eyes”, he told a crowd of media and key bar industry figures, before getting into the importance of how the glass feels in your hand.

Each tumbler’s distinctive lines have been precisely designed to indicate a measured pour to assist bartenders – both in bars and at home – with the perfect serve, allowing from consistency and balance.

The Perfect Serve Collection is available for retail in boxes of four. Tumbers are set at $69.95, Stemmed Glasses are $79.95, and Mixing Glasses are sold as singles for $79.95 each. For more information click HERE.
