Sofitel Sydney Wentworth and Weiss team up to indulge chocolate lovers through Autumn

Historic chocolatiers Weiss Chocolate are partnering up with Sofitel Sydney Wentworth over the next few months to fill the property with various chocolate inspired experiences including a chocolate high tea and bespoke dessert cocktail menu. Anyone heading along to the high-end hotel for the extra layers of indulgence from now through to the end of April can expect some unique creations from the property’s pastry team, all aimed at highlighting the many different textures of the luxury artisan chocolate.

The property’s numerous venues will be wrapped with heavenly chocolate like a handcrafted three-tiered High Tea at Soiree Bar available daily from 11am to 5pm. Those who make a booking can expect all the usual trimmings of high tea replaced by Weiss products, like a Wiess Bassam dark chocolate tart, coconut crunch, Weiss Manatee milk chocolate rocher, mousse, Weiss praline powder, and Weiss Aneo white chocolate and green tea chou. Don’t count tea out of the equation though, with guests choice of Dilmah Teamaker’s Private Reserve loose leaf tea or barista coffee. The High Tea is priced at $69 per adult with bookings essential, and the first 50 people who head along to the high tea gifted a complimentary ticket to the Art Gallery of NSW’s latest exhibition ‘The Lady and the Unicorn’ (note that the high tea only runs up until the 31st March).

Soiree Bar will also feature a special cocktail menu from now until 30th April, with $21 per bespoke concoction, with signatures including a Pocky Rocky cocktail with Ron Zacapa Mozart, Frangelico, cream, and milk topped with chocolate pocky.

Over at the on-site Garden Court Restaurant, guests are able to end any meal with limited edition chocolate desserts designed by the in-house pastry team with a decidedly French tinge, ranging Tartelette au chocolat au lait et à la figue, Soufflé au chocolat noir and Mousse au chocolat au lait, and éclats de noisettes. Each of those desserts are priced at $16 each and will be available during the restaurant’s dinner service from Monday to Saturday until 30th April.
