Saké Restaurant & Bar introduce free-flow champagne lunches (Sydney)

Japanese dining powerhouse Saké Restaurant & Bar in Double Bay (nope, not the one in The Rocks) certainly knows how to connect to their locale. We’re surprised they didn’t do this one sooner to be honest, which is introduce an epic and decadent free-flow champagne package to their popular weekend lunch sessions. And it won’t be the cheap stuff either – it’ll be Dom Pérignon.

From Saturday 26th August guests will be able to book-in a two-hour all-you-can-drink Champagne package on Saturdays and Sundays, accompanied by a set menu carefully selected by the kitchen team to include everything from sashimi and steamed egg custard with sea urchin to prawn spring rolls and miso caramelised Glacier 51 toothfish skewers. There’s also some house salads, a chef’s selection of nigiri, clam miso soup, and bite-sized desserts including yuzu tart and miso vanilla brulee.

If the set isn’t your thing, then guests will also have access to an à la carte food menu with a minimum $75pp spend.

The lunch set will go $75pp every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm (from August 26th onwards) and the add-on Dom Pérignon package costs an additional $299pp. If that’s too pricey for you just opt for the Veuve Cliquot package for an additional $99pp.
