Renowned British Chef Alastair Little is opening a pop up restaurant with Merivale (Sydney)

From 23rd until later 2018 Merivale will be hosting a special collaboration pop-up restaurant with renowned British chef Alastair Little on the first floor of Hotel CBD in Sydney. Dubbed Little Bistro the new restaurant will take guests on a journey that typifies Little’s storied career with a short, seasonal menu defined by simplicity and good taste.

Over the past 40 years, Little has built an unquestionable reputation and all of that will be channelled into this very special menu that spans some beloved classics and new creations, with smaller dishes like pepata of mussels cooked in white wine with chilli and garlic; autumn vegetable minestrone with porcini, new season’s oil and Parmigiano Reggiano; and mains like roast crown duck with an apple, potato and rosemary galette with frisee salad; and vegetable tagine with cous-cous and a chermoula relish.

“Working with Merivale is a dream proposition for me”, said Little. “With the support of the group, the staff in place and the venue ready to go, I get the chance to take Sydney by storm, or at least a small section of it, and can focus on what I love most – creating and evolving recipes, and working closely with the people I teach to cook them”.

Alastair Little at Hotel CBD will open up on 23rd April for lunch and dinner every Monday through Saturday. More information can be found HERE.
