Pinot Palooza is bringing the goods to Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane this month

After successful runs in Adelaide and Perth in August, i>Pinot Palooza will be dropping by Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane this month for the country’s largest annual Pinot Noir and music festival. Bottle Shop Concepts have had Pinot Palooza as a star event on their portfolio for five years now, sitting with events like Game of Rhones as grape-focused celebrations of some of the best wines this side of the globe and beyond.

Some of the best sommeliers in each city have come onboard to help takes festival goers through some very fine wines, posted up across the festival and at the Burg Bar, where punters will be taken on a journey through Burgundy as well as Hi-Fi, Lo-Fi and B-Sides from all over the world.

To help you soak up that Pinot there’s been a few big name food vendors come on board for each event. Adelaide already got the likes of Duncan Welgemoed from the city’s famed Africola and forthcoming events will be working to the same high standard. When Pinot Palooza hits Sydney the likes of Bodega, Yarra Valley Dairy and Belles Hot Chicken will step in with some nosh. Melbourne will also be getting Belles and Yarra Valley Dairy, in addition to BBQ lovers Burn City Smokers, Meat Smith, and Ladro.

Sample Brew will be on hand to help take your mind off Pinot for awhile during the Melbourne leg, while Sydney and Brisbane get to down some Young Henrys.

Melbourne is also getting a special pop up from local wine retailer Vinomofo, who will be unveiling the brand’s new The Don, an independent collaboration Yarra Valley Pinot Noir with Andrew Santarossa from Fratelli Wines.

$60 gets you a general ticket, while VIP tickets bump up to $95. VIP will get you exclusive pre-event access from 11am-1pm, a food voucher, specially selected Burg Bar tasting (three wines), and time with the cities best sommeliers (aka roadies). The sommelier roadies will personally curate your experience by listening to your individual preferences, and then recommend up to six wineries that you should explore.
