Anyone who has been to Japan probably knows just how ridiculously popular Pablo is. The Osaka-born business founded by Masamitsu Sakimoto has grown over the years to include 44 stores across the country as well as 13 internationally, success which has been based on superior, consistent and addictive cheese tarts.
Sydney has been picking up when it comes to Asia’s biggest cheese-dessert brands. Last year we got Uncle Tetsu, also from Japan, and the queues keep rolling in. Then we got multiple openings from Malaysia’s Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart. Pablo is arguably the biggest Japanese opening yet, opening up Sydney locals and visitors to beautiful cheese tarts available in various flavours, cooked either “medium” or “rare” thanks to a dedicated in-store oven.
They also have their own theme song, and it’s amazing.
