Launched this past Monday, a website signalling the partnership between The Hunger Project Australia and some of the top restaurants in the country, is auctioning some exclusive deals no food lover in their right mind would want to pass up. It’s all the support The Hunger Project’s worldwide goal, as a non-profit organisation, to end world hunger by 2030, with all proceeds from each auction donated back to The Hunter Project so they can help those in need. The project has been titled A Table to End Hunger, and includes dinner at Noma Australia, a five-course dining experience at Marque, and a tasting menu at Otto, amongst others.
The campaign is happening all around Australia, with restaurants from every city getting involved and allowing food-lovers to skip the queue with a conscious.
The Hunger Project’s work is aimed at empowering women and men living in rural villages in India, Bangladesh, and Africa to end their own hunger and lead a healthy, fufilling life of self-reliance and dignity, a different approach to just handing out food to break the cycle of poverty.

That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with Australia’s top restaurants to help us solve a first world problem for Australian foodies while also enabling us to solve a greater problem – chronic, persistent world hunger.
“At The Hunger Project, we’ve always believed the end of hunger is possible. Although this might seem like a lofty goal, in the past 25 years the number of people living in hunger has actually been cut in half! We have come a long way, but; there are still 795 million people living in chronic hunger globally. By unlocking their capacity, creativity and leadership, we can empower these people to transform their futures and end their own hunger,” added Burke.
The campaign will be continuing through March 5th, with more auctions being revealed as the days go by, calling on acclaimed restaurants like Aqua Dining, Quay, and Guillaume to reward those who donate the most.
