Neil Perry brings his Burger Project to Edward Street (Brisbane)

Continuing the impressively rapid growth this gourmet burger chain has managed since first debuting in Sydney’s World Square, Neil Perry’s Burger Project has this week opened its second store in Brisbane. As of Tuesday 20th June, Burger Project is now serving up their popular mix of burgers, sides and desserts on the busy shopping and dining strip of Edward Street in the CBD.

This marks the group’s twelfth Burger Project across Australia, remaining consistent with the bright, smart-casual interior which has come to define the brand, shaped by leading architect Grant Cheyne. The space is large enough to fit 134 diners, including 64 in an attractive outdoor garden terrace which overlooks bustling Charlotte Street.

“Burger Project will be a drawcard for Brisbane corporates, foodies, families and the late night crowd, as it really caters for all ages and occasions, with a late night closing time Thursday through to Saturday”, said Perry. “Our fast-paced production will suit office workers by day and bar-hoppers by night, with customers rewarded with premium grade ingredients and the option to linger over a few craft brews in our outdoor terrace”.

As with all other venues, the menu features 14 burgers with most featuring the brand’s primary produce, which is 36-month, grass-fed Cape Grim beef sourced from Tasmania alongside free-range Lilydale chicken. A vegetarian crumbed confit mushroom option is also available for those opting for a vegetarian burger, while sides include chips spiced up either chipotle or Suchuan salt and desserts such as house-churned soft-serve.

Craft beer from Urban Craft Brewing Co will be available alongside classic shakes, sodas and iced teas which are all shaken, spritzed and brewed in-house.
