National Pizza Day: 400 Gradi are offering an expensive lobster and black truffle pizza this week (Melbourne)

Sure Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, but there’s something even better coming at Aussies this week: National Pizza Day. The annual celebration of all things pizza falls on this Thursday 9th February, and you can be sure many of the country’s finest pizzerias and Italian restaurants will be cooking up specials for the occasion. One such restaurant will be Melbourne’s 400 Gradi, the multi-location masterstroke from crowned pizza world champion (2014) Johnny di Francesco – you know, the guy who once made world headlines with a delicious 99 cheese pizza – who will be whipping up the most expensive and luxurious pizza in Australia.

Available only this Thursday with a pre-order, all 400 Gradi locations – Brunswick, Essendon, Crown and Eastland – will offer a lush $100 pizza, making use of quality ingredients like lemon ricotta, zucchini, lobster* and black truffle. The wood fired pizza will be made in the traditional Neapolitan style of course, delivered piping hot to those who have had the good sense to pre-order when making their booking.

For all 400 Gradi locations and bookings head to their official website HERE.
