Merivale previews new venues and dishes at extravagant launch party for March Into Merivale

Last week, Merivale celebrated the start of their one-month March Into Merivale festival with it’s traditional launch party throughout their famed ivy, presenting stalls from all Merivale venues new and old, with all chefs on hand to offer some of their latest creations, some old favourites, and future staples. AU’s Head Photographer Johnny Au was in attendance and brings you these photos of all the action at the incredibly busy, incredibly delicious three-hour party which saw previews of anticipated venues like Queen Chow, Fred’s, and The Newport as well as established favourites like Mr Wong and est..

Stand outs included the Rotisserie Chicken with artichokes and parsley from The Paddington, a Mint Choc Chip Ice Cream Sandwich from Fred’s, dumplings from both Mr Wong and Queen Chow, fresh pizza offerings from Vinnie’s Pizzeria, and a beautiful Foie Gras & Duck Parfait with black cherries from est.. Take a look at all the images below and head along to March Into Merivale to check out the full range of events throughout February and March.
