Melbourne’s Guy Grossi brings some of his signatures to glass brasserie (Sydney)

Two celebrity chefs, one exclusive menu. That’s what you’re going to find at Sydney’s well-regarded glass brasserie for the remainder of this year, created by Luke Mangan in collaboration with Guy Grossi. That’s some serious culinary star power right there, and it’s been fused into a lunch menu that takes two signatures from Grossi’s Melbourne restaurants and sits them alongside some of glass’ best afternoon meals.

“Both Guy and I take pride in the whole dining experience – not just the food we serve”, explained Mangan. “We understand our guests want to be blown away with innovative concepts, engaging experiences and the element of surprise. That’s exactly what we’ve done with this menu”.

Lunch-goers heading along to glass brasserie across November and December can expect two dishes from Grossi: Flinders Island lamb served crumbed and drizzled with tomatoes, onion, parsley, safe, rosemary, salt and pepper; Grossi’s popular spaghetti vongole with white wine, garlic, chilli and parsley. While the regular glass brasserie lunch menu features the likes of minute steak with spiced, roasted sweet potato wedges; and beer-battered market fish with seasonal salad, French fries and tartare sauce. Grossi’s spaghetti vongole has also made its way onto the glass wine bar’s affordable $29 lunch menu.

“This menu collaboration allows Sydneysiders the opportunity to try a selection of my
signature dishes without having to travel to Melbourne, which is a nice opportunity for those
who appreciate my style,” offered Grossi.
