Melbourne go-to Dukes Coffee Roasters has officially expanded to Sydney with South by Dukes, a slick new venue in the lower of Tower One in the Streets of Barangaroo precinct. Long known as one of the most highly-regarded specialty coffee roasters in Melbourne, Dukes has built a sizable following for their signature beans which are ethically traded and sourced from individual farms, maintaining their commitment to environmentally and socially sustainable practices.
Their first Melbourne café launched back in 2008, quickly making a name on the Melbourne scene and leading the charge in complete traceability. This new Sydney outlet will continue the brand’s strengths in a large, bright space that should fit seamlessly into the fresh-faced Barangaroo family.
“The Barangaroo precinct’s commitment to sustainability, and willingness to promote high quality food and beverages of all walks, made it the perfect location to introduce Dukes to Sydney”, said Robert Oechsle of the specialty roaster.
They’ll be brewing up all sorts of caffeine goodness from 7am every weekday, considering all types of coffee drinkers from those who lean towards a rich latter to a crisp and clean filter coffee. Alongside the brews will be a daily selection of pastries, sandwiches and sweet treats.
