Market City continues to roll out an all-new Asian dining precinct (Sydney)

Earlier this year, Haymarket icon i>Market City unveiled a refinement to their Asian food scene, sweeping things over and moving towards a curated collection of restaurants dubbed 1909 Dining Precinct. Now the popular destination hosts eight deluxe Asian restaurants, in addition to its over food offerings which include long-standing Yum Cha favourite The Eight and a first-floor food court which opened last year.

Market City’s third floor has now completed its rollout of restaurants, from Meng Fei’s Mr Meng Chongqing Gourmet – which was the first to open back in March – to artisanal Korean BBQ restaurant Kogi, which has proved to be one of the most successful so far. Also on the menu is Dolar Shop for all your hot pot needs, YAYOI Japanese Teishoku, Chinese eatery Beijing Impression, and contemporary sushi train restaurant Fugetsu.

“Market City has a strong heritage and reputation for providing both locals and international visitors with a great shopping and dining experience – whether it’s through access to leading retail brands, specialist ingredients, authentic Asian cuisine or the famous Paddy’s Markets”, said Market City Centre Manager David Yam. “We are excited to be evolving our offer to deliver an elevated day-to-night food experience, heralding a new era of dining at Market City and something we believe will further underscore our position as one of the city’s most authentic and vibrant Asian food destinations”.

Market City will offer diners free undercover parking from 6pm with more than 600 bays available. It is also easily accessible by public transport including bus, light rail and train with Central and Town Hall station in close proximity.
