London’s Ministry of Sound Club is launching in Sydney this month

In what should be big news for club-minded Sydneysiders, London’s iconic Ministry of Sound Club is making it’s way on over the the harbour city, launching from Saturday 10th June for weekly residencies at ivy. Every Saturday night onwards will feature a brand new four-room soundsystem and clubbing experience curated by MoS, which has remained a South London mainstay for the past 25 years.

“Excellence in sound” has always been to focus for Ministry of Sound so clubbers can expect the cutting-edge as they dip into what’s shaping up to be an epic lineup that will start with homegrown favourites Peking Duk. The world-dominating DJ duo will be opening the club with a set in The Courtyard on Saturday 10th June, keeping crowds busy while U.S house legend Sandy Rivera (AKA Kings of Tomorrow) takes care of the vibes up at the Pool Club.

“Ministry of Sound in London is a world-renowned venue and has been the destination for lovers of dance music for over 25 years”, said CEO of Ministry of Sound Australia Tim McGee. “We are now going to bring that same experience and ethos to Sydney. We will be implementing a forward-thinking music policy and making Ministry of Sound Club a haven for good music and a home for both international and Australian artists to connect with their fans.”
