Locals can now get produce delivered fresh from Sydney Fish Markets with “GetFish”

Surprise! Another delivery service has popped up in Sydney, but this time it’s focusing exclusive on the famous Sydney Fish Market. GetFish will be the city’s first exclusive Sydney Fish Market delivery service, ideal for those who want to avoid the crowds who regularly descend upon the precinct on the daily.

Delivering straight from the De Costi Seafoods shop front at the market, GetFish aims to increase access to the fresh produce at an affordable print point without compromising on quality. Founded by 18 year old Antonio Muollo, the service allows customers to get their hands on prized produce selected from a much wider range than is available at the physical store.

“We wanted to provide customers with the ultimate convenience of seafood delivery direct from the fish markets at a very affordable price without compromising on the quality and freshness of the seafood”, said Muollo. “By teaming up with De Costi Seafoods and delivering straight from its shop front, we are able to deliver on all these services and prevent customers battling the crowds at the fish markets”.

The produce available on the service includes seafood platters, crustaceans, caviar, sashimi, and more.

GetFish’s service area currently spans a 35km radius from the Sydney Fish Markets, with plans to push that even further ahead of the Christmas rush. Deliveries are available same day if ordered before 12pm (delivery between 4pm-8pm), and next day when ordered before midnight (customers can choose between 10am-2pm and 4pm-8pm). The service is available daily and orders over $100 qualify for free delivery (otherwise the fee is $10). The last date to order before Christmas is 21st December for delivery on 23rd and 24th December.
