Krispy Kreme expand range with “Around the World” collection

The Australian leg of ubiquitous doughnut chain Krispy Kreme have lately been looking abroad to get some inspiration for their new flavours. Curated into what they are calling their “Around the World” range, the long-standing brand have designed new tastes inspired by Italy, Argentina, Mexico, and England, resulting in new ones from Chilli Chocolate to Tiramisu doughnuts.

Rolled out from last week, the new range includes Ti Amo Tiramisu (Italy), the aforementioned tiramisu doughnut which is designed as an Original Glazed filed with tiramisu flavoured cream and topped with coffee flavoured truffle icing and cocoa power; Dulce de Leche (Argentina), a doughnut that’s been topped with caramel truffle, drizzled with chocolate ganache, and finished with vanilla biscuit crumb; Caliente Chilli Choc (Mexico), which blends smooth chocolate with a kick of chilli choc crème, hand dripped in choc icing then sprinkled with choc curls and paprika; and English Raspberry Scone (England), which is the Krispy Kreme famous ring doughnut filled with raspberry jam and topped with crème and dusted icing sugar.

As part of the launch celebrations, Krispy Kreme will give away free doughnuts to customers who have previously visited, or hold passports to, any of the aforementioned countries. Just rock up and show your passport or visa stamp to receive the relevant “Around the World” doughnut, up until this Friday July 15th. In addition, KK stores will have little mock passports available in-store so customers can go around collecting stamps as they try all four flavours. Passports with all four stamps can then go into a draw to win a tailored trip for two worth $9,000 to one of four “Around the World” holiday destinations (we’re guessing it’s to either Italy, Aregentina, Mexico, or England).
