70 years in and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts are still at the forefront of premium travel around the world. And as one of the leading hotel brands, it only seems right that they celebrate such a milestone by connecting many of their finest properties around the world through one celebratory cocktail menu, fashioned as the “Worldly Classics Collection”.
Available throughout this month at various InterContinental properties, including InterContinental Sydney, the menu is a series of classic and non-alcoholic cocktails that have come to define the bars at these premium hotel bars across the globe. You’ll be familiar with most of them – the Martini, the Negroni, the Cobbler, the Hemmingway, but the real treat is in how well they are made, and who they have been made by. Award winning mixologist Nick Braun was tasked with refining many of these classic cocktails to offer in InterContinental Hotels in Asia, Middle East and Africa. He has also helped with the non-alcoholic options, like an elegant Honey Apple Julep or a fruity Pineapple Presse.
“From iconic favourites to classics with a fresh twist…the selection of InterContinental Worldly Classics offers guests a luxurious experience in any InterContinental Hotels & Resorts bar or lounge around the world”, offered Head of Luxury & Lifestyle (Asia, Middle East & Africa) Bruce Ryde. “For the past seven decades we’ve been at the forefront of bringing the luxury of travel to our guests…our newly launched collection continues to bring to life the glamour and romance associated with those ‘Golden Years of Travel'”
