Hendrick’s and Matt Blatt team up for a gin & furniture pop up bar at Tramsheds (Sydney)

The historic Tramsheds is currently playing host to an interesting pop-up from lovers of unusual Hendrick’s and eclectic home wares retailer Matt Blatt. The idiosyncratic bar popped up this past week and will remain shaped into the bustling European-style food hall until the middle of March.

Presented by Wats On Events, the spot is fashioned as a perfect place to relaxed and unwind over a pre-dinner aperitif or a post feed nightcap while the frantic and hungry mill about the epic space deciding between the likes of Dust, Belles Hot Chicken, Osaka Trading Co and more.

“From a life-sized grassy horse to seasonal summer brights and key pieces from our latest outdoor range incorporating timber, rope, rattan and more – we’ve specifically curated this collection to create a playful mood for pop-pp patrons looking for a novel night out”, described Matt Blatt’s GM Mr Drexler.

Anyone heading along can expect Hendrick’s to put their best foot forward, with their characteristically quirky personality and garden-fresh cocktails like the Raspberry Royale topped with Champagne and the Gin Garden with elderflower. There are also fautless G&Ts of course. Other drinks include a selection of wines from Oyster Bay as well as ciders and ales from Batlow and Capital Brewing Co..

The pop-up will be open from Monday-Friday from 5pm until late, and Saturday-Sunday from 3pm until late.

All Matt Blatt furniture and décor can be purchased in a showroom or online, for a list of items available on display at the pop-up click HERE.
