Guylian open a new express chocolate cafe at HSBC Building (Sydney)

Belgian chocolate brand Guylian have expanded their chocolate cafe reach in Sydney, now opening up a nice and central location in the heart of an evolving George St precinct, designing an express style cafe at the newly renovated HSBC Building opposite Event Cinemas. Opening today, Friday 15th April, the renowned chocolate brand hopes to bring a more boutique version of their popular cafes which already have locations around Australia.

Created with on-the-go city dwellers in mind, the new venue is fitted with a sleek interior brightened by modern light wood paneling, complementing the refined menu which features a vibrant selection of Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe’s premium freshly baked pastries, baguettes, and waffles, along with their signature desserts, tarts, and slices. Coffee will also be a strong focus here, with Guylian’s exclusive 100% Arabica blend served up, in addition to Hot Chocolate of course. The famous Guylian boxed chocolates and individual pralines will also be available at the store.

The cafe will also include the brand’s new Guylian Praline Ice Cream Cups which will launch to coincide with the opening, featuring miniature tubs with devine Guylian hazelnut praline flavours inside rich, smooth ice cream.

This opening follows some big growth for Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafes, which saw new locations in Newcastle, Melbourne, and Abu Dhabi last year, with an ambition to open more across NSW and VIC in the near future, as well as already planned openings in Perth, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Doha, Qatar.
