Fratelli Fresh are giving away 500 free build-your-own pizzas this week (Sydney)

Fratelli Fresh will officially launch their long awaited casual pizzeria spin-off, Fratelli Famous, this week in the level 5 food court of Westfield Sydney. Set for Wednesday 31st August, the trusted Italian brand will be firing up that custom-built pizza oven to kick off their massive planned expansion – they want to open around 100 of these fast-casual joints around the country within the next five years – greeting hordes of hungry pizza lovers with the option to build their own pizza from a multitude of options.

Of course, a launch wouldn’t be the same without a special deal, so Fratelli Famous will be giving away free 8 inch, build-your-own pizzas to its first 500 customers from 12pm on the day (you’ll have to ‘like’ their Facebook page). It’s a deal worth heading along for seeing as they team have put together quite the menu for their foray into the fast-casual space, featuring nine classic pizzas, as well as breakfast pizzas (including a classic with eggs, bacon, mushrooms, fontina, and mozzarella) and dessert pizzas (like the Banana and Nutella Calzone sprinkled with caramelised brown sugar and hazelnut crunch). There’s also some DIY salads on the menu along with house-made thick shakes and a bunch of gelato flavours.

Fratelli Famous opens at 11am on launch day. Customers who share a social photo of their personalised pizza will score a free dessert on their next visit. You can find Fratelli Famous at the top of the long elevator right off Pitt Street Mall (near Sportsgirl), the one that leads straight to Level 5.

If heading along whets your appetite for free launch-day food then you’d probably be happy to know that Saké’s sister restaurant, Saké Jr, will also be feeling a bit generous when they launch the day after, on Thursday 1st September (from 8am). For launch day, from 12pm, the new fast-casual Japanese restaurant will be handing out 500 free build-your-own rice, noodle, salad, and bao bun-based bowls, topped with fresh veggies, proteins, sauces, and condiments. Expect a range including udon rice noodles topped with crispy sesame soy pork, beans in black garlic sauce, an apple soy ginger sauce before being finished with tempura.

Customers who share a photo of their customised bowl on social channels will win a free healthy dessert on their next visit. The first 1000 customers will also receive a complimentary, limited-edition, reusable Saké Jr bag.

Saké Jr will be located opposite Fratelli Famous.
