Dewar’s whisky brings their Scotch Egg Club to Sydney this May

This May, Sydney’s CBD will he home to an unique pairing when Dewar’s Scotch Whisky take the flavors of Dewar’s 12 yo and create a series of cocktails that will match with Scotch Eggs.

For those unaware, a Scotch Egg is a UK delicacy that sees a boiled egg wrapped in meat and coated in bread crumbs before being fried. Mitch Orr, head chef from ACME, has created the menu for the event next month and notes he has flipped the Scotch Egg “ into something with a unique personality. We’ve created four different flavour combos, each a unique variation for Sydneysiders to enjoy with Dewar’s whisky.”

Those who want a more in-depth experience, there will be masterclasses on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4-5pm that will allow you the opportunity to try all of Dewar’s blends (12, 15 and 18 years old), as well as the single malts that are used to create them, with a serving of Scotch Eggs of course.
