Darling Harbour’s The Meat & Wine Co is moving to Barangaroo (Sydney)

A long established restaurant in Darling Harbour, The Meat & Wine Co, will be making the permanent move to its new location as part of the developing Barangaroo precinct. The new location will still keep The Meat & Wine Co’s distinctive Afro-centric vibe of tribal patterns, intriguing textures and genuine artefacts, a look that the restaurant is known for. The new Barangaroo restaurant will open later this year, with the last day of operation at the Darling Harbour location to be Sunday 18th September.

“We are thrilled to move to Barangaroo, which is precipitously evolving into the heart of Sydney’s food culture”, said Bradley Michael, CEO of Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group. “The Meat & Wine Co will be a great addition to the diverse range of restaurants and will continue to deliver world class produce and service”.

The Meat & Wine Co.’s Circular Quay restaurant (located in InterContinental Sydney) will still remain open, as will other Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group’s stable of restaurants, including Italian Street Kitchen, Ribs & Burgers and Hunter & Barrel.
