Campari are hosting pop ups all over the city this month (Sydney)

Famous as an everlasting icon of Italian style and refinement, Campari has launched its Rediscover Red campaign, a month-long celebration honouring the drink of the moment: the Campari Tonic, resulting in a bunch of pop-ups around Sydney that include everything from FREE GELATO MESSINA to campari mixed with some sweet live Jazz.

The Campari recipe itself has remained unchanged since it was established in 1860 in Novara, Italy, and it is still the base for some of the world’s most famous cocktails. Created from the infusion of bitter herbs, aromatic plants and fruit in alcohol and water, the red Italian aperitivo is as popular and accessible today as it was 155 years ago.

The Campari Rediscover Red event is all about the Campari Tonic, a mix of sweet and bitter notes that complement the intense orange and herbal notes of the liqueur. Served with fresh lime, this mix makes for an easy drinking occasion, enjoyed by a wide audience whilst completely refreshing the traditional Campari experience.

The Clare Bar at The Old Clare Hotel, Chippendale, has become a red themed pop-up bar for the month, supporting the Campari Rediscover Red event. It will offer a wide array of cocktails featuring the famed beverage. Drinks include the Beer Americano (for beer lovers) and the Red Passion. The Campari Tonic will delight traditional drinkers, whilst the Negroni is ideal for those who enjoy a more bitter, unique taste.

The space will be custom-designed and feature bespoke red lighting, vintage artworks and Campari bottle installations. A signature scent, designed by Air Aroma, has also been created, and includes notes of bitter orange, grapefruit, jasmine, musk and rosewood. A custom-branded Fiat 500 will also be on-hand to offer VIP guests exclusive transfers to the bar.

The Campari Rediscover Red Bar will host a different event each Wednesday evening in August. The lineup includes:
