Burger Watch: BL Burgers have created an epic Seinfeld burger (Sydney)

Welcome to Burger Watch, where we acknowledge the constant creativity bursting from all sides of the epic burger wave that regularly sweeps Australia. The highest-of-high demand is reserved for this timeless food staple and just about every interpretation of it, whether it to be an over-the-top glutton-fest or a focus on simple burgers done well. We acknowledge that it’s not just enough to compile a list of the best burger joints for each city, because we all know the cream of the crop have space on their menu for revolving specials. That’s why every now and then we’ll be paying close attention to some of the absolute best burger joints across the country and picking limited edition specials we feel you need in your life, so you’ll never have to miss out again.

Back to BL Burgers again because no one will be able to deny this tasty looking burg. It’s been inspired by Jerry Seinfeld who is currently in Australia for his long-awaited (and long overdue) stand-up tour, which means there’s plenty of references to his iconic 90’s sitcom sitting in between those two buns.

Simply named “The Jerry”, this weeks BL special features a pretzel crumbed chicken (“these pretzels are making me thirsty”), sex pastrami, a [George]biiiiiiig salad[/George], cereal milk mayo, and “no soup for you” (which could literally mean no soup, or some sort of special “no soup” soup), all stacked between a BL milk bun. They’ll be slinging this bad boy for $17 a pop-up all week, right up until the weekend.
