Broadway Sydney is hosting a four-day music, food and fashion festival this month

Now that they’ve gone and revamped a big chunk of the long-standing shopping centre, Broadway Sydney are throwing their very own four-day festival, making good use of their wide range of food, fashion, beauty retailers for what they’re calling Fusion Fest. The organisers aren’t doing pulling any half-measures either, bringing in a bunch of very fine local talent to help prop up a live music component to the festival, which will see various artists take to an indoor stage across the four days for free performances.

Kicking off on Thursday 25th May and running right through to Sunday 28th May, Fusion Fest will highlight all Broadway Shopping Centre’s revamped Level 2 has to offer, offering the public everything from on-trend workshops to on-site fashion tips including an exhibition from beloved fashion blogger Yan Yan Chan. And of course you’ll have the food precinct’s range of food vendors at your disposal, including the excellent Zeus Street Greek, Bondi Pizza, Din Tai Fung, Burger Project and My Donut Box.

Then you’ve got the pop-up gigs, calling upon the talents of Lastlings, Lime Cordiale, Woodes, Kylie Lionhart and Polographia. Each act will be scheduled across the four days, presenting shoppers with something a bit different than your typical shopping centre atmosphere.

In terms of workshops, there’s plenty of free one-off food lessons to learn, some hosted by well-known reality TV stars, including Adam Liaw and My Kitchen Rules duo Helena and Vikki.
