Brewtown Newtown are throwing a food and fashion attic party this weekend (Sydney)

Newtown eatery and emporium Brewtown Newtown staged a very well received attic party a few weeks back, making full use of their adjoining O’Connell Street Merchants for a lively celebration of good fashion and good food. They’ll be doing it all over again this weekend as they throw their second ever attic party, stretching across both Saturday and Sunday with a special collaboration with Smoking Gun Bagels.

The bagel bakers will be setting up shop for the free-entry party, bringing their Montreal-style, wood-fired bagels as well as some of their other signature dishes. Along with the sweet and savoury pop-up will be the return of Sydney Romantics, who will stage their own little pop-up in the space, showing off their high quality, locally made garments that have been named after streets and suburbs of Sydney (be on the look out for their limited edition “Newtown” tee shirt).

Free coffee cupping workshops with Master Roaster Chris Bonney willalso feature throughout the weekend, as well some tunes from DJ Josh Leenaars and no doubt a range of Brewtown’s awesome pastries.
