Bowery Lane enters the weekend brunch scene with ‘Greatest Hits’ menu (Sydney)

The team behind Sydney’s big, bold Bowery Lane thinks its about time they joined in on the popular weekend brunch scene, extending some of their best menu items to that forever vague pocket of time between breakfast and lunch that has become just as popular as the traditional meal times, bringing more of a chance for diners to explore their refreshed menu and ‘Greatest Hits’.

From 8am each Saturday and Sunday, the buzzing Manhattan-inspired space will be alive with farm-fresh local and seasonal ingredients wafting from the kitchen, used in everything from the cafe’s signature Scouts Breakfast – a stacked serving of poached eggs, mushrooms, roast potatoes, crispy proscuitto, goats cheese, and parmesan crumbs – and essential order The Hudson – poached eggs with spiced labneh, corn fritters, pickled cucumber, coriander, and fried speck – to lunch options like the New York Cheeseburger – wagyu, bois bourdan, Monteray Jack, tomato, cos, caramelised onion, and fries – and the Ora King Salmon of celeriac remoulade, cranberries, and puffed spice buckwheat.

Brunchers can also get their hands on the kitchen’s wildly popular Grainge Signature Sirloin, a 250g beauty that’s been sourced from Queensland’s Darling Downs farming region, served with fries, watercress, and jus.

On the drinks side of things, Single Origin coffees and Tea Craft selections will be available along with Bowery’s fresh juices (definitely try the Green Power Juice, which has been reworked with a new recipe), milkshakes, and smoothies. They are currently working on a liquor licence for Sunday sessions as well, so soon enough boozy Sundays at Bowery will be helped along by a range of premium wines, spirits, and cocktails; for now, those alcoholic options are only available on Saturday mornings as far as the Weekend Brunch goes.
