After instant sell-outs June, the London-born quirk of Bongo’s Bingo is heading on an encore tour across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this August, keen to deliver more table-topped rave-bingo madness. Over the past two years Bongo’s Bingo has attempted to transform the nightlife in the UK, giving punters a chance to re-shape their nights out; it’s been a certified hit wherever its gone, and its Australian debut just two months ago was no exception.
Unlike the normal version of the sedate Bingo game, Bongo’s curious twist sports of a wall-to-wall rave atmosphere with a healthy dose of competition, concentration and skill. The hosts, or as their known, “fun creators” will be in charge of calling out the numbers, playing sing-a-long tunes and getting the party started. The DJ host will play his role as the comic ringleader to help the audience let loose for a night of frivolity.
