Bondi’s The Stuffed Beaver opens new diner in Crows Nest (Sydney)

From Bondi to the Lower North Shore, popular American-style diner The Stuffed Beaver has officially expanded, opening up a new venue in Crows Nest with a playful rock ‘n’ roll dive vibe with the winning combo if indulgent food, cold brews, and a giant 120-inch screen for sports fanatics of all kinds.

The space, with seating consisting of tables, bar stools and dining parlour booths will reflect the original Stuffed Beaver with a rustic look lit up by a bunch of new arcade game machines, including Double Dragon, Golden Axe, and Street Fighter. Of course, the place will also be brimming with assorted treasures donated from the local community, in a similar fashion to their Bondi venue, giving the place a heap of character and grounding it in the Crows Nest area.

A partnership with Philter Brewery will have the Marrickville favourites showcasing their full range at the venue, as well as an exclusive “Beaver Brew” and a forthcoming barrel room with plans to stock even more exclusive aged craft beers served “off the wood”. That addition will be revealed later this year.

Menu wise, expect the kitchen to keep things nice and consistent over both venues, so expect various iterations of The Stuffed Beaver’s poutine fries and plenty of North American inspired dishes like wings, hot dogs, spicy tacos, nachos and burgers. The drinks list will reach across cold craft beers, ciders, wines and signature cocktails, including a Canadian version of a Bloody Mary and a twist on the classic Long Island Ice Tea.
