Belles Hot Chicken will open a 110-seated restaurant in Sydney!

Chicken lovers rejoice!! Chook king Morgan McGlone and co-owner Miranda Campbell of Belles Hot Chicken have finished their search for a permanent venue in Sydney, buying up a large space at Barangaroo so that when their nearby pop-up finishes, the institution will be setting up a full 110-seated restaurant right around the corner.

The hugely popular pop-up for Belles has certainly established their presence in Sydney, so news that the Melbourne-originated haven of fried chicken and good wine is here to stay is cause for celebration. What’s more is that the menu will be extended and not only include different cuts of deep-fried chicken with differing levels of spice, but many more snack-style eats like the Belles Chicken Sandwich, which is a skin-on-thigh fillet imbued with medium-level spice, dusted with some hot spice, and stacked up with cheese, iceberg lettuce, and shaved onion in between a toasted, sesame-seed milk bun with some secret sauce.

Of course, a fully functioning Belles Hot Chicken must have a good list of natural, hand-picked wines sourced from locals so we can expect to be hearing more details on that soon.

The pop-up will pop-down in August of this year, after which the permanent Belles Hot Chicken will open on 1st September at Shop 5, Alexander Wulugul Walk, Barangaroo.
