Streets Ice Cream are about to unleash their latest step in building upon one of their best ever inventions, the Golden Gaytime. It’s a curiously named “crumb shed” pop-up, coming to both Sydney and Melbourne Topshop Topman stores later on this month, pushing five new flavours for the beloved ice cream.
We aren’t talking standard iterations like strawberry or chocolate (which now exists anyway) either, with Streets deciding to go a bit over the top with everything from pretzel bits and 100s & 1000s to MUSK STICKS. These “crumbs” will be available at each store to sprinkle on the base, each hand-made to order. Those who head along will even be able to buy the original vanilla flavoured Golden Gaytime crumbs by the tin (hot tip: use it like you use Milo).
The five new limited edition flavours are:
Unicorn Breath
Vanilla crumb, musk sticks, strawberry hard candy, popping candy, edible glitter.
Crumb Choc Millionaire
Chocolate crumb, smashed potato chips, desiccated coconut, 100s & 1000s, edible glitter.
Chocopalooza
Chocolate crumb, lolly bananas, 100s & 1000s.
Golden Chief’s Salty Gaytime
Vanilla crumb, pretzel bits, salted caramel drizzle.

All of these will be available at the pop-ups for $6 each. Sydney will get the first on Wednesday 18th January at Topshop on Market Street. Two days later it’ll be Melbourne’s turn as the pop-up comes to Topshop’s Emporium store on Friday 20th January. Both pop-ups will only be open for a limited time, with opening hours as follows:
