A real life fruit ninja will be chopping up fruit that you throw at him this week in Sydney

Ice cream brand Streets have been real busy in Sydney as of late. They’ve already brought us the world’s best jumping castle and now it seems they want to let loose an actual samurai in Wynyard Park this Thursday. As part of a state-wide tour for their Fruttare truck, Streets have trained up a Fruttare Samurai, three-time Australian Martian Arts champ Andy Trieu, who will be showing off his fruit slicing skills this week.

Equipped with signature moves ‘the uppercut’, the ‘snake bite’, and ‘vorpal strike’, Trieu will be harnessing his sharp hand-eye coordination to send fruit flying all over the park from 3pm to 6pm as the public are invited to take part by throwing fruit at him for slicing and dicing.

Those willing to take part can throw bananas, strawberries, coconuts, and mangoes – the four Fruttare flavours – at the Fruttare Samurai before hopping to the truck to collect their free Fruttare frozen smoothie on a stick (hot tip: get the Mango Smooth flavour, it’s MVP).

When: Thursday 28th January 2016; 3pm-6pm
Where: Wynyard Park, York Street, Sydney CBD
