Cumberbunnies: The Benedict Cumberbatch Easter chocolates you always dreamed of

Jen Lindsey Clark and her team over at UK-based Chocolatician seem obsessed with capturing Benedict Cumberbatch’s likeliness in all it’s deliciousness, last year proving themselves as a mix of Willy Wonka and Madame Tussauds with a Belgian chocolate modeled after the Brit actor, called the “Chocobatch”. Now they are taking things a little further with Easter coming up, taking their original creation and transposing it onto the holiday icon, a bunny. That’s right, Benedict Cumberbatch chocolate bunnies are know a thing, and they are being named Cumberbunnies. Life is amazing.

The bespoke gifts are available in three different flavours – milk, white, and dark chocolate – and are being described as “a delicious Belgian chocolate rabbit with a handsome face and a tasty bottom”. They are pricey little things at around US$70 but they little bits and bobs to (sort of) justify the price tag, like an edible 22-carrot gold bow tie prettying up the white chocolate Cumberbunny. The milk and dark chocolate varieties are hand-glazed with edible lustre dust.

On their website Chocolatician states that they are out to redefine the parameters of chocolate, and with this level of detail and creativity it looks like they are well on their way to bringing some theatre back to retail chocolate.

You can check them HERE. Unfortunately for us down here in Australia, they only ship to Europe.
